Foreword
A compact and concise E-book on drums and drumming. Drumming is a skill. And as in all skills, practice and more practices are needed. Results therefore vary with individuals.
This E-book can be compact and concise because the medium of instruction is predominantly pictures and videos instead of words.
And where appropriate, interested readers are directed to sites that provide more information and FREE resources.

Objective
Our main objective is to harness the power of videos as a great teaching and learning tool.
The videos can be played repeatedly with consistency to enhance the learning experience.
We also aim to:
1. Draw from this knowledge bank for learning purposes;
2. Identify, collate and organise information to facilitate learning;
3. Help promote video owners and their expertise; and
4. Point to relevant sites.

The Format
The lessons are presented along the following format:
1. Do and show what should be done;
2. Explain how it should be done;
3. Advocate self assessment (s) with demonstrated desired outcome (s), wherever possible;
4. List suggested exercise (s) to achieve desired outcome (s), wherever possible.
